10 Habits Everyone Should Get Used To

These are simple yet life-changing habits.

Are you someone who feels that they aren’t being productive enough in their life, or sometimes feel overwhelmed to try new things and even avoid trying new things by assuming that they wouldn’t be able to do it? Well, you’re not alone. We have all been in that state for a while now.

In my opinion, creating a habit can help make your day (or even life) more productive. It can make you feel motivated to do what you were meant to do and help you create a cycle you can’t break from.

Today, I want to share some habits with you that can help you to have a better life (not that you’re not having a better life now, lol).

These habits can make or break you but I want yo advise you all to read this piece until the very end and give it a clap even if you didn’t like it because HABIT NO.1: Make someone smile :)

Moving on to…

HABIT NO.2: Wake up early in the morning.

There are many reasons why people sleep and wake up early. That’s because a human body was basically meant to shut down at night and wake up again when the sun rose. Now, this is a different story for night owls because they basically become predators (I mean that in a good way) but for those who can’t keep up with a scheduled time; I would suggest you sleep early and wake up early to have a productive day.

HABIT NO.3: Hydrate Yourself.

All those hours that you have slept makes your body thirsty and your muscles weak, which is why you should drink at least a glass of water right after you wake up to replenish all that energy you lost and to make you feel more weightless and energized. drinking water can also boost your performance and make you feel less fatigued.

HABIT NO.4: Meditate.

I don’t usually meditate but I realized that when I do meditate, I feel super great and everything in my body just calms down and increases my productivity throughout the day.

HABIT NO.5: Excercise 3–4 times per week.

Working out is a huge stress reliever and by doing so, you’re not only making your body healthy but your mind as well. You don’t have to work out 5 or 6 times a week; just doing it 3–4 times for around 20–30 minutes is more than enough to get you feeling great!

HABIT NO.6: Be Grateful.

You’re reading this article and you’re breathing; that’s one thing you should be grateful about today. you have your family with you, that’s another thing you should be grateful for and there are so many more things to be thankful for such as food, shelter, water, and all those tiny little things that most people don’t have. If you count your blessings, you could never really count them! So always be thankful for what you have instead of whining over what you don’t.

HABIT NO.7: Make Time For Yourself.

This is especially important if you’re working from home and you don’t have a set time like a 9–5 job. When you’re working from home or freelancing, it’s important to take care of yourself as well instead of working all the time. Just squeeze or pull out at least 15 minutes to reflect on what you did today, to speak with your family and friends, to take care of your skin and hair, and to read some books or watch something on your laptop.

Just take your mind off of work for some time and then go back to what you were doing. you’ll feel more inspired and more pumped to finish that piece of article or data sheet or whatever you’re talented in.

HABIT NO.8: Listen More Than You Speak.

I’m a big speaker but this ‘concept’ has made me feel more…wise (somehow) These days, I speak less and listen more. even if I want to speak, I first think about what I want to say and then say it instead of hurting someone by my instinctive answer.

HABIT NO.9: Don’t Worry About Things You Can’t Control.

Many people feel as though they must carry the world’s problems on their shoulders such as climate change or LGBTQ protests and such but trust me, you don’t have to do it alone. You can share your worries and concerns to your friends and family and you can ask them for help even if it’s a personal problem because sometimes, things just happen that are out of our control and we just need to go with the flow and move on. We can’t mull over the past but we can surely strive for a better future, can’t we? It’s good to be positive about things and not let ourselves down by degrading our thoughts or increasing our negative thoughts.

Let’s all pledge to not corrupt our minds and let’s all pledge to always share our worries with the person we most trust.

HABIT NO.10: Know Your Vision and Set Your Priorities.

Nowadays, everyone’s a solopreneur and what we need more than anything in our lives is to have a clear vision of what we’re doing, where we’re going, and what we should prioritize first. It can be easy to choose Netlfix over writing a newsletter or choosing to hang out with friends when you could have made some important calls and sealed the deal.

You know what I’m getting at, don’t you? It’s important to keep our goals right in front of our eyes and to only take a break when we’re sure that we’re going to win this race.

You might have read or were told about these habits repeatedly but listen to a stranger (me) for once and please follow them because it will make your life better. I guarantee it and if it doesn’t, then you can just come back here and unfollow me. That’s a challenge!
